While each and everyone of us should respect the religious beliefs of others, there is one religion that refuses to do such. Islam is a "dogmatic" my way or Death religion. While every religion has its own merits and faults Islam stands out from all others. As the Second largest World Religion (and growing), others need to take note and respond.

In re-guards to the Florida Pastor that is threatening to burn Qurans, how do we know that he wasn't "hired" by Islamic Radicals to give them a new reason to kill more infidels. He sure backed off after they invited him to New York, to meet with the Islamic top brass.

Also, the Islamic community sure jumped on the opportunity to start violence long before any books were actually burned.

As for me, I am watching closely how President Obama handles this !! If he finds a way to stop the burnings then His true Religious colors are for all to see. If the burnings go on the Constitution is still the way of life in America.

Don't get me wrong, I think burning the Quran is in very poor taste. It is a bad way to exercise the freedoms that we enjoy in the USA.

But I think that the threat of burning the Quran has shown the Islamic communities true Purpose and that is to take complete control of the World. They may even be behind the NEW WORLD ORDER.

@ Islamic Scholars - What misinformation are you referring to?? Is it misinformation that Muslims killed thousands of innocent people on 9/11/01 in the name of Allah? Or the misinformation that jihad was carried out at Ft. Hood in the name of Allah? What about the shoe bomber, Christmas Day bomber? USS Cole? The botched Times Square bombing? How about Lockerbie, London, and Spain? While it's true that a handful of Muslims died in those attacks, they were collateral damage.

I agree with ladogg that no religion's holy books should be destroyed, but don't you realize how angry non-Muslims, aka "infidels," are throughout the world? Why should Sharia law be included in England, France, or the USA? WHY? These nations govern through civil laws, not religious laws. In case you say that there's no evidence of Sharia in those 3 countries, read and watch:

If that's not enough for you, let's go further back in history to the Armenian Genocide and what Muslim Turks did to 1.5 million innocent Armenians as well as thousands of other Christians and Jews for good measure. Hitler based his own genocide on Muslim Turks' success of ethnic cleansing.

http://www.armenian-genocide.org/genocide.html

http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/international/countriesandterritories/turkey/armenian_genocide/index.html

Suppose you were attending a small lecture at a private Roman Catholic college. The guest lecturer was discussing the Armenian Genocide. In walk 20-30 Muslims representing the Turkish government and their NYC embassy. They circled the back of the hall and interrupted the speaker. Campus security and NYC police were called in, but the people kept threatening and wouldn't leave. How do I know this? I attended it with my aunt in February, 2006 at Manhattan College.

So, tell me again how Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance? People in the USA can't even go to a small, peaceful lecture without being threatened by Muslims.
